AKD, alongside Setterwalls, one of Sweden's leading full-service law firms, has advised AAC on its acquisition of Hyperion Technologies.

Hyperion, a Dutch space company, will join the Swedish-Scottish Group to strengthen the offering to the global space market. The satellite market is a fast-paced and competitive industry. New business models and actors make it necessary to adapt. This acquisition is a step forward in this process.

AAC Clyde Space offers solutions and services from mission design to on-orbit operations, including reliable customizable satellite platforms, and a full range of subsystems for cube and small satellites.

The AKD team was led by its managing partner Erwin Rademakers and consist of Lars Subnel, Pascal van Schaik, Ariänne van Maanen and Evelien Baas.
