AKD advises Bieze Food Group on its acquisition of the Menken Van den Assem group

AKD provided legal assistance to Bieze Food Group B.V. (BFG) on the acquisition of Menken Van den Assem Special Foods B.V. including the Fresh Food and Frozen Food divisions.

About Menken Van den Assem
Menken Van den Assem Fresh Food is a specialist in conceiving, developing, packaging and supplying private label food concepts for retail and their suppliers. The company has its own recipes for meat, fish, salad enhancers, snacks, soups and breakfast products. Packing takes place at the location of Menken Van den Assem in The Hague. Menken Van den Assem Fresh Food has its own brand called ‘Zwagers’ (seasonings for meat and lettuce enhancers) and, together with partners, hold the brand ‘Sea Green’ (seaweed products).

Menken Van den Assem Frozen Food is an exclusive importer of distinctive frozen products of various brands for professional chefs in the Benelux and supplies these products through the catering and food service wholesaler in the Benelux. Menken Van den Assem Frozen Food has its own brand: ‘Frozzo’ (frozen products).
