A multi-jurisdictional AKD team has advised Cyan Renewables in connection with the take-private of MMA Offshore.
MMA Offshore was formerly listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX: MRM) and is a leading provider of marine and subsea services globally.
Cyan Renewables, headquartered in Singapore, is Asia's first offshore wind farm transport operator serving the fast-growing offshore wind farm industry in Asia. Led by a team of industry veterans in Singapore and Denmark, the team owns and operates sophisticated vessels to support the full lifecycle of offshore wind farms.
With the acquisition, Cyan Renewables is set to become the Largest APAC Platform for Offshore Wind Energy Services.
AKD advised on the target’s Dutch and Belgian operations, and could leverage its Benelux offering for this transaction. The team consisted of Laura de Jong (team lead), Carlos Pita Cao, Ruben Dickhoff, Timothy Speelman and Pieter De Vos.
