AKD has advised DISA, an internationally operating group of companies active in the field of marine and underwater services and solutions, on C-Ventus and Føn Energy Services joining forces.
C-Ventus is a leading provider of O&M (Operations & Maintenance) services for the offshore wind market, and Føn Energy Services is a Norwegian independent service provider to the energy industry sectors, backed by Norwegian industrial group IKM and Oslo-listed industrial investment company Akastor (The Aker Group).

The acquisition of C-Ventus, its European track record as well as its scalable operating model with in-house project management and engineering, enables Føn Energy Services (backed by DISA due to its reinvestment in Føn) to strengthen its integrated service model and to deliver cost-efficient O&M service operators across Europe.

Headed by Mickey Engel (team lead), AKD's team consisted of Ruben Schulpen (Corporate / M&A), Ben Reinders (Litigation), Thomas van Kuilenburg (Commercial Contracting), Max Salomons (Employment), Rutger van Thiel and Esther de Brouwer (Notary).
Furthermore, the team cooperated with Wiersholm as Norwegian counsel for DISA.
