AKD has assisted long-standing client EIT InnoEnergy in the completion of its private placement round worth over EUR 140 million of equity.
EIT InnoEnergy is a leading innovation engine in sustainable energy that operates at the heart of the energy transition. This round saw a host of major players from a range of sectors at the table, from new players (Société Générale, Santander CIB, PULSE – CMA CGM Energy Fund, Renault Group, Stena Recycling and NIIT), to existing shareholders (Siemens Financial Services, Schneider Electric, Capgemini, Volkswagen Group, ING, Koolen Industries, GROUPE IDEC and Engie).
Led by Carlos Pita Cao, the AKD team was marshalled by David Molenaar and further consisted of Wouter Kros, Inan Akdeniz, Bas Scheepers and Tycho Heijnsbroek (M&A), Jasper Verhoog and Florian Dorland (Financial Regulatory), Niels Hagelstein and Renate Punt-Huizer (Banking & Finance), as well as Monique Verkuilen, Remco Bosveld, Marc Anker, André van Hoepen, Evelien Baas and Ariänne van Maanen (Civil-law Notaries).
