An AKD deal team has advised Hurks on the sale of all shares to construction group Ballast Nedam.
Hurks Groep is a Dutch family-owned construction company. The sale of Hurks ensures the continuity and identity of the company.
For Ballast Nedam, owned by Turkish construction and investment company Ronesans Holding, the acquisition is a further step in expanding its portfolio and strengthening its market position, especially in the central and southern regions of the Netherlands, and in particular in utility and residential construction.
The transaction is still subject to regulatory approvals.
The AKD deal team was led by Joyce van den Nouwland, and further consisted of Inan Akdeniz, Ben Beune and Amir Al-Anany (Corporate M&A), Ludo Luijks and Maud Plattel (Tax), Joost Houdijk (Competition), Rutger van Thiel (Notarial), Eva van den Krommenacker and Myrthe van Deursen (Employment).
