AKD Benelux lawyers, working as a team with Korea's leading law firm Kim & Chang, advised Woowa Brothers Corp on acquiring Takeaway.com Asia (known as Vietnammm.com) from Takeaway.com.

Woowa Brothers Corp. is a Korean developer of smartphone applications and advertising platforms and runs the food delivery app of Korean market leader Baedal Minjok.

Takeaway.com, founded in 2000 in the Netherlands, is a leading online food delivery marketplace, focusing on connecting consumers and restaurants through its platform in 10 European countries, Israel and Asia. Takeaway.com will acquire a shareholding of approximately 0.25% in Woowa Brothers Corp.

AKD's team consisted of partners Erwin Rademakers and Jeroen Pop, both leading the firm's Asia Practice, and Associates Nick Hessing, Lars Subnel and Natalja van Hofwegen.
