An AKD deal team together with YPOG has advised Newion and Simon Capital on investing in Neople, a Netherlands based AI startup.

Neople was founded in 2023 and is looking to solve challenges in customer support by offering a software solution that creates AI co-workers for e-commerce customer support. Using this latest investment, Neople will expand internationally and to launch the first AI training centre for digital co-workers.

Newion, a long-standing client of AKD, is an investment company that invests in business software.

The AKD team was led by Nathalie van Woerkom and further consisted of Valéry Schaap, Brendan Moloney, and Vincent Langenhuijsen (Corporate M&A), Sophie Hendriks and Bram Woltering (IP, IT and Data Protection), Mariëlle van Winden-Spaans and Arie van der Meij (Employment), and Ludo Luijks (Tax).
