With the assistance of AKD as part of a multidisciplinary team, Groenland BV and L&M Groep have decided to merge their companies to form “One Flora Group”.

Groenland and L&M Groep are two long-established family-run enterprises in the floriculture sector, both being wholesalers importing and exporting flowers, plants and related products all over the world. The new group brings together fourteen separate companies.

The merger enables the parties to achieve a unique strategic collaboration that fits the growth strategy pursued by both family businesses. One Flora Group is the response of the parties involved to the scaling up and professionalisation that is taking place within the sector. The new entity will make optimum use of the sourcing of the L&M Groep and the commercial network of Groenland to create an optimal floriculture chain.

The merging parties were assisted by an AKD team consisting of Stefan Bais, Joey Smetsers, Bas Scheepers, Monique Verkuilen, Ariänne van Maanen, Evelien Baas, Joost Houdijk and Ingeborg van Schagen.
