Webinar on State Aid and Tax: EU, Benelux and U.S. aspects

September 10, 2020 | 15:00 - 16:30 | Online

AKD Benelux Lawyers and Ruchelman P.L.L.C. (New York), in close cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce in Belgium, cordially invite you to participate on 10 September 2020 at 3.00pm Brussels time/CEST in a free and interactive webinar on the EU law aspects, as well as the Benelux and U.S. tax law aspects, of State Aid and the fate of multinational corporations that received favourable tax rulings from national tax authorities.

Based on a recent joint publication in IBFD’s European Taxation, this webinar will address the impact of a number of significant EU court judgments in the Belgian Excess Profit Rulings-case (for more than thirty corporations), the Starbucks-case and the Fiat-Chrysler-case and the implications for multinational groups with Benelux operations and U.S. headquarters.

We are providing ample time to also discuss the recent EU General Court judgment in the Apple-case and to answer as many of your questions as possible. Do you have any specific questions now that you would like us to address during the webinar? Do not hesitate to submit them during the registration process. Any questions that come up during the webinar can be submitted to the speakers via the chat room.
