AKD appoints Professor Reinout Wibier

Combining a practical perspective with in-depth academic knowledge

AKD has appointed Professor Reinout Wibier to strengthen its banking, insolvency and restructuring practice. Reinout became a full professor at the department of private law at Tilburg Law School in 2010. His arrival strengthens AKD's academic profile and emphasises the value we place on high-quality service in complex national and international matters.

Reinout (1976) has ample experience in banking and finance, restructuring, bankruptcy law and litigation. Reinout teaches property law and insolvency law, and carries out research in these areas, with a focus on finance and secured transactions. He is the author of many articles and academic publications (national and international) on areas of expertise that touch on AKD's practice, particularly in the field of property law and insolvency law. He worked as a lawyer at Allen & Overy and Lexence from 2000 until 2014.
