AKD has assisted Dutch software company SwipeGuide in a EUR 5mio capital injection round led by Speedinvest. Other parties participating were Dutch tech investor CapitalT, US-based Plug and Play Ventures and existing investors Newion and Brumbucks.

About SwipeGuide
Founders of SwipeGuide are Daan Assen and Willemijn Schneyder. Their aim was to do away with thick binders with paper instructions, so in 2016 they started developing a software platform that enables companies to digitise shop floor instructions and standard operating procedures with ease and speed.

Employees can then open the instructions using a special app that scans QR codes. This way, they have the latest instructions on hand of the machine they need to learn about. SwipeGuide is now used in over 200 plants in 89 countries around the world, with Heineken, PepsiCo and Coca-Cola being some of the platform's top clients. The company employs a staff of 25 operating out of offices in Amsterdam and Chicago.
