AKD is proud to have signed the Talent to the Top Charter. This step marks an important milestone in AKD's commitment to increasing diversity and inclusivity within the firm.
Signing the Talent to the Top Charter underscores AKD's dedication to promoting gender diversity and creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported. By joining this initiative, AKD commits to concrete objectives and measures aimed at increasing the number of women in leadership positions and fostering diversity at all levels of the organisation.
“We are proud to have signed the Talent to the Top Charter,” says Jan Kromhout, board member at AKD. “At AKD, we recognise that the best work environment, the best decisions, and thus the best results come from collaborating with people of different genders and cultural backgrounds. We strongly believe in connecting people and in an organisation free from prejudice. We are therefore happy to join organisations with the same ambition, to learn from them so that we can achieve our aim of a better gender ratio.”
About the Talent to the Top Charter
The Talent to the Top Charter is an initiative by the Talent to the Top Foundation, which has been monitoring affiliated Charter organisations since 2008 on the quantitative and qualitative progress of gender and cultural diversity. The Talent to the Top Charter provides guidelines and clear agreements that help organisations work purposefully towards sustainable and effective results. Participating in the Charter demonstrates commitment, provides insight into one’s standing compared to others, and offers a network and points of reference for further improvement. The monitor not only shows performance in figures but also underlying qualitative factors. Read more on the website (in Dutch).
