CSSF Communication – Coronavirus Update of the situation

On 17 March 2020, the CSSF (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier – Luxembourg’s Financial Sector Supervisory Authority) published the following communication on the COVID-19 situation.

  1. The CSSF remains operational, but theirs offices are closed to external visits.
  2. All communication should be done either through the eDesk for those who have registered, or by e-mail, instead of or in addition to regular mail.
  3. All outgoing communications from the CSSF will be done by e-mail, carrying no handwritten signature from the CSSF. Please verify that it originates from the domain name @cssf.lu, and please remain vigilant as to potential frauds. If you have any suspicion as to the message received, the CSSF have asked to phone your usual contact person at the CSSF or their switchboard.
  4. CSSF reminded that they are available for meetings by telephone or videoconference.

The CSSF will provide further updates as this exceptional health situation evolves.
