Video: Price increases due to war and the impact on contracts

Last Friday, the European statistics office Eurostat published an article on electricity and gas price increases in the EU. Gas, electricity, oil, steel, aluminium: prices for these and other commodities have all gone up.

In this video, Ineke van den Broek talks about the price hikes of commodities due to amongst others the war in Ukraine and the consequences for any current long-term contracts, fixed-price agreements in particular. She will address the options for suppliers to adjust agreed prices in agreements relating to the purchase and resale of products or to charge their higher costs on to distributors. She also gives tips on minimising the risks of price hikes.
