AKD has assisted Axel Johnson International with the acquisition of MAK Aandrijvingen B.V.
Axel Johnson, incorporated in 1873, is a Swedish privately owned industrial group that acquires and develops companies in strategic niche markets, primarily technical components and industrial process solutions.
MAK, incorporated in 1926, is a well-established supplier of power transmission technology in the Dutch market. With 36 employees, MAK's total annual sales are approximately EUR 15 million.
With the acquisition Axel Johnson is increasing its market presence in the Netherlands. The addition of MAK is an important piece in its ambition to continue to grow within the mechanical power transmission segment.
The team of AKD was headed by Lennart Crain and further consisted of Dena Mokhberolsafa, Mirte van Veen, Remco Bosveld, Eric Vermeulen, Joost Houdijk, Cathelijn Frederiks, Henrike van de Laar, Annette Zwart, Pascal van Schaik, Thijs Hekman, Thomas van Kuilenburg, Carmen Hermes, Florence van Ravels, Natalja van Hofwegen, Bram Woltering, Daan Pinxter and Elise van Leeuwen.
