About Alexandra van Loon

Alexandra van Loon is a lawyer at AKD who specialises in commercial litigation. Alexandra deals with complex legal issues and disputes for (inter)national clients in various sectors and for trustees in large-scale bankruptcies. She advises and litigates in the fields of, for example, property and securities law, insolvency law and civil liability and compensation law.

Alexandra’s focus is on dealing with issues relating to ownership, transfer/cession and collateral and personal security. She is also a specialist in bankruptcy law and liability on the grounds of breach of contract, unjustified enrichment and unlawful acts, including director's liability.

Alexandra regularly publishes in the legal fields she is specialised in. She is also a member of the Association for Insolvency Law Attorneys [Vereniging voor Insolventierecht Advocaten], INSOL Europe and the Dutch Procedural Law Association [Nederlandse Vereniging voor Procesrecht] (NVvP).
