About Benyamin Karimi

Benyamin Karimi is an attorney-at-law and indirect tax lawyer at AKD. Benyamin is a member of the tax practice group and specialises in advising on a wide range of indirect taxes such as VAT, Customs and Excise and Real Estate Transfer Tax (RETT), related topics, and projects.

Benyamin is involved in advising both national and international clients on the complex daily issues such as cashflow and supply chain optimalisation, review of the VAT position, the international and national supply of goods and services, management buyouts, handling VAT audits, the indirect tax aspects of due diligence and national and international group restructuring activity, but also real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions and various other indirect tax issues. As an attorney-at-law, he also specialises in tax disputes including dispute resolutions and court representation, mostly in VAT and Customs and Excise cases.
