About Edmond Rinnooy Kan

Edmond is a member of AKD’s litigation team, specialising in corporate law and general contract law. His practice covers a wide range of topics, including joint ventures, M&A disputes, (pre-)contractual liability, and collective redress.

He advises and represents clients in national and international disputes before the Dutch courts (both in first instance and in appeal) and in arbitration. He also has experience litigating complex corporate governance disputes before the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal.

Edmond is co-author of the SDU commentary on the Dutch statutory expulsion procedure for shareholder disputes (SDU Commentaar Ondernemingsrecht, onderdeel wettelijke geschillenregeling) and regularly publishes about this topic in other legal journals.
