About Kaori Ishikawa
Kaori Ishikawa is Account Director Japan at AKD. AKD's Japan team helps Japanese clients navigate the Benelux. Kaori advises Dutch clients on expanding to Japan, through the firm’s close working relationships with leading law firms in Japan. She is also responsible for developing the Japanese market across all industries and for communicating and supporting Japanese clients from a wide range of sectors.
Kaori has ample experience in versatile commercial fields, and her experience at overseas subsidiaries of a global Japanese company has provided her with the ability to consider pragmatic legal and tax issues up close from an operational perspective. She is able to think along with her clients and guide them throughout the process to find the best solution together.
Kaori’s deep understanding of Japanese culture and the fact that she is a native speaker of Japanese, combined with her unique commercial experience, ensure that clients receive smooth communications and Japanese-minded services.
