About Kelly Gans

Kelly Gans is a lawyer at AKD who specialises in construction and real estate law in the widest sense and who is closely involved in notarial activities.

Kelly primarily advises on purchase and lease agreements, cooperation agreements, (sub)contracting agreements (the Uniform Administrative Conditions for the Execution of Works and Technical Installation Works [Uniforme Administratieve Voorwaarden voor de uitvoering van werken en van technische installatiewerken] and the Uniform Administrative Conditions for Integrated Contract Types [Uniforme Administratieve Voorwaarden voor Geïntegreerde Contractvormen] (UAV-GC)) and general terms and conditions. Kelly speaks Spanish in addition to Dutch and English.

Kelly is one of the authors of the Comparative Environmental Law Report [Vergelijkend Rapport Omgevingsrecht] which was compiled on the instructions of the municipality of Haarlem. This report explains the differences between the current and new environmental law in view of the coming into effect of the Environmental and Planning Act [Omgevingswet].

In 2016/2017 Kelly took part in the Construction Law Masterclass, organised by Utrecht University. There she managed to achieve a shared second place thanks to her plea during the final meeting.
