About Laura de Jong
Laura is an attorney-at-law in our firm’s Corporate & M&A department. She has been with AKD since her graduation from Utrecht University in 2008 and was appointed partner in 2018.
She mainly advises listed and unlisted foreign multinationals on all aspects of strategic investments or acquisitions in the Netherlands or in connection with global strategic transactions involving Dutch companies.
Covering the full spectrum of legal advisory services in M&A, from drafting and negotiating letters of intent via (cross-border) due diligence operations and share or business purchase agreement negotiations to closing support, her scope of work includes drafting and negotiating shareholders' or joint venture agreements and a variety of other agreements ancillary to the M&A practice. Her expertise also covers related areas of law and regulatory matters within the context of Dutch M&A (e.g. employee co-determination, transfer of undertaking, financing and security, ancillary restrictions).
