About Laura de Jong

Laura de Jong is a lawyer and partner at AKD. She supervises businesses with regard to national and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, asset-liability transactions, management buy-ins and buy-outs and due diligence assignments in that context. She is also regularly involved in the setting up of joint ventures and other partnerships and the formation of all kinds of agreements between collaborating parties.

Laura's expertise interfaces with other legal fields and supervision regulations in the context of mergers and acquisitions. Examples include employment law codetermination and transfers of business ownership, financing and securities and ancillary restraints.

Laura's clients are diverse and vary from Dutch upper mid-market and Dutch family businesses to multinationals and foreign (listed) clients. She also provides assistance to private equity and venture capital funds.

Laura focuses primarily on the hospitality, leisure and entertainment industries and on French and Spanish speaking regions.
