About Mark Littooij

Mark Littooij is an attorney-at-law at AKD and is part of the Litigation & Insolvency practice group. He specialises in property law, insolvency law, and the law of obligations, as well as the specific area of property law related to proprietary rights and interests.

Mark's practice revolves around national or cross-border insolvency and financial restructuring issues. He advises and litigates in the field of property and insolvency law on such themes as D&O liability, fraudulent preference (actio pauliana), financing and securities, and acquisitions/restarts after bankruptcies. Mark is, in addition, regularly appointed as trustee in bankruptcies by the Rotterdam District Court.

Mark studied Economics and Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He obtained bachelor's and master's degrees in Dutch civil law and in economics and business economics.
