About Pascal van Schaik

Pascal van Schaik is an attorney-at-law at AKD who specialises in employment law, co-determination law, the privacy law aspects of employment law and employee fraud. For more than ten years he has advised and represented clients in a variety of employment law cases.

Pascal recently advised in cases on, for example, a whistleblower working at a multinational and the takeover of a listed company. He also provided legal support during the reorganisation of a company in the food industry.

Pascal’s clients often include multinationals, many of which are US, German and Asian companies. His clients appreciate the fact that he knows how to translate complex material into to-the-point advice.

Pascal graduated with a degree in law with distinction and also completed the Post-Academic Course in Dutch Employment Law [Postacademische Leergang Arbeidsrecht], again with distinction. He regularly speaks at congresses and is the author of the book entitled ‘De Adviesplichtige intentieverklaring’.

Based on this registration, Pascal is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
