About Pieter van der Woerd

Pieter van der Woerd is an attorney-at-law at AKD who specialises in administrative and environmental law. He frequently advises and litigates in matters pertaining to general administrative (procedural) law, spatial planning law, nature conservation law (the nitrogen issue, for example) and environmental law, including enforcement. His clients include public and semi-public authorities as well as commercial parties such as developers, industrial enterprises and (institutional) investors. Another part of his work concerns providing advice to parties involved in real estate transactions.

Occasionally, Pieter travels to the Caribbean Netherlands to advise on and litigate in administrative and environmental law matters.

In addition, Pieter regularly teaches and publishes on issues within his area of expertise.
