About Sammie Elbertsen

Sammie Elbertsen is an attorney-at-law at AKD who specialises in issues at the interface between public and private law, with a focus on public private partnerships, competition rules for public authorities, and subsidies. These issues typically involve subsidies regulations, the Didam rules, the Public Enterprises (Market Activities) Act, public procurement law and State aid law. Sammie has amassed a wealth of experience dealing with the interplay between these areas of law, particularly so where area development and government contracts are concerned. He advises and litigates for both public authorities and market players, always keen to find the best solution to their problems.
