About Stefan den Hertog
Stefan ten Hertog is a lawyer at AKD who specialises in international and European law and their effects on national law.
Stefan works in a broad practice and is active in, for example, the field of subsidy law and the social domain. In subsidy-related cases he regularly supports subsidy providers and recipients. This enables him to give a realistic estimate of whether legal proceedings are going to be successful before they start.
Stefan also acts regularly in disputes against the Netherlands Enterprise Agency [Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland]. In the social domain Stefan generally provides legal assistance to government bodies. When doing so he always takes the vulnerabilities of the target group into account. Within that framework his focus is on the Youth Act [Jeugdwet] and the Social Support Act 2015 [Wet maatschappelijke ondersteuning 2015] (Wmo).
