About Thomas Biermeyer
Thomas Biermeyer is a partner in the litigation practice of AKD. He specialises in cross-border corporate and finance litigation, arbitration and has extensive experience in (international) commercial and civil litigation. Thomas also has a strong background in corporate restructurings and insolvencies.
Thomas is an Associate Professor at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, where he teaches and researches European corporate finance law. His main academic focus is empirical research on corporate mobility as well as on corporate finance structures by means of data science. He has been a visiting researcher at Harvard Law School, Oxford University and Paris-Sorbonne University.
He previously worked for a leading law firm in Luxembourg and in France, a law firm in the Netherlands and an international legal consultancy in Brussels.
