About Yann Hilpert
Yann Hilpert is a banking and finance partner in AKD’s Luxembourg office. He focuses his practice on leverage finance, secured lending transactions, fund finance, debt capital market, securitization, asset finance and financial regulatory work.
Yann advises private equity houses, financial institutions, asset managers, multinational companies and private clients. He has also a longstanding experience advising purchasers, financial institutions, airline and shipping companies on aircraft and shipping transactions.
Yann is recommended for his work on banking and finance matters in leading legal directories including The Legal 500 EMEA and IFLR1000.
He also lectures corporate and financial law in the post-graduate diploma “International and European Business Lawyer” (Master 2 Juriste d’Affaires International et Européen) at the Faculty of Law of Nancy (France) since 2006.
Yann is a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2002. He speaks English and French.
Before joining AKD, Yann was partner in a global international law firm and then in a specialized boutique firm.
