About Zabdaj Pollen

Zabdaj Pollen is a partner and lawyer at AKD who specialises in corporate law and transaction practices. Zabdaj advises domestic and foreign clients, both on (strategic) buyer's side and seller's side, regarding 1-on-1 transactions and controlled auctions. He always devotes special attention to structuring issues in the phases before and after a transaction.

In his practice Zabdaj's aim is to scale back a complex process to a manageable transaction. His assistance is intended to enable the entrepreneur to focus on material issues rather than on legal technical details and then achieve a successful completion in a short time frame in close cooperation with the client and the client's other advisers. A proactive approach and precision are the key features of his method.

Zabdaj's two year Executive MBA provided him with a solid knowledge base of the economic, financial and operational drivers of enterprises. As a result Zabdaj is able to deliver the client a swift transition from practical need to a tangible and directly applicable solution.

Zabdaj focuses a lot of attention on the process before and after a transaction. Before the transaction he designs an optimal structure for intragroup (financial and fiscal) relationships and for the allocation of high value assets. After the transaction he creates (for the buyer) the right integration of the new business(es) into the existing structure. Alternatively he structures (for the seller) the proceeds in such a way that they benefit of the seller's risk profile.
