How have different countries dealt with the impact of Covid-19 and the financial and tax aspects of dealing with effects on a corporate and individual basis?

On 4 March, the New York State Bar Association organizes a webinar about Global Tax Policy In The Age Of Covid-19. The webinar will highlight how different countries have dealt with the impact of Covid-19 and the financial and tax aspects of dealing with effects on a corporate and individual basis, e.g. potential permanent establishment issues, tax impact on frontier and stranded workers, and transfer pricing.

A Benelux perspective
Our tax Partner Werner Heyvaert will give a presentation about this topic, viewed from a Benelux perspective. Werner is located in Brussels and has over 30 years of experience in Belgian and international tax law. He specializes in corporate tax work, institutional and transactional as well as contentious. Werner’s presentation was prepared with the valuable help of Laura Vissers (AKD, The Netherlands), Joël Butkiewicz-Jung (AKD, Luxembourg) and Vicky Sheikh Mohammad (AKD, Belgium).
